We all work too hard and the uncertainty of the last two years with the pandemic has made travel plans difficult to solidify. If you're a city dweller, we can't even begin to imagine what life has been like during these difficult times. While we try not to take our open spaces and lack of crowds for granted, we're all creatures of our surroundings and we do feel so fortunate to have this little slice of heaven that you can enjoy too! If you haven't had the opportunity to spend a few nights in the country, we welcome you to our inn and cottages this season.
If it's a family getaway that you're looking for, or a romantic weekend with your partner, we have rooms and cottages to suit any scenario. Fall asleep to the song of spring peepers and wake to the birds chirping in the calm of the country. Open spaces for kids to frolic, beautiful roads and trails to explore, and a great local food scene await you. Our elegant guest rooms in the 1774 house are beautifully appointed with antiques, hand painted French wallpaper, cotton linens, and a farm to table breakfast. Our cottages are perfect for families or getaways with friends and all have kitchens so you can prepare your own meals or go out on the town.
Sleep in and relax, or get up early with the sunrise and start your day with a walk to the orchard next door to take in the views of the Connecticut River Valley and the hills of Vermont. There truly is something for everyone here at the Inn at Valley Farms! Above is our Rose Room complete with a comfortable King bed and views of our back garden and one of the historic red barns. Below is the living area of our Bellows Cottage which can sleep up to six guests. Our cottages just got a little makeover so if you haven't visited in a while, you should! Complete with three bedrooms and an adorable kitchen, this cottage or one of our others, is sure to be a great home base for your New Hampshire and Vermont excursions.
We hope to see you soon in Walpole for a relaxing and fun little getaway. Give us a ring at (603) 756-2855 to talk about your plans. We're happy to help you with your reservation, plan day trips, and tell you more about our beautiful area.
